Hey Everyone,
So last week we had transfers, and I'm no longer in Brawley. As part of it, some adjustments were made to the areas, and the two areas in Brawley were combined. There is now just one set of missionaries there; a trio consisting of Elder Reid, Elder Humble, and Elder Burton. I am now in another city in the Valley called El Centro.
My new area is still in the same zone, and the ward I'm in is still in the same stake. I've got a new companion, Elder Parkinson. And I'm on a bike now. As I alluded to last week, Elder Payne went home. When he left he gave me his bike, which I'm very grateful for. Biking has been a lot of fun for the last week. Maybe I'll miss the car once the novelty wears off, but for now I'm enjoying it a lot.
Brawley is in good hands. They're probably better off without me there to be honest. But I'm sad that I didn't get to see our goal of having the Spanish branch made separate again happen. And I fear it will never happen. I'll talk more about that later though.
I got to watch the priesthood celebration on Friday. It was really cool. The stories they shared were super inspiring, especially the ones about the Martin family. If you haven't watched it yet, definitely do that.
Well, that's all I have for now. Interesting stuff will follow eventually, I promise. I hope everyone has a great week.
Till Next Time,
Elder Wadsworth
